Daily

The Daily Community was a group run by Smugmug in its early days. Rather like a Flickr group where you could see people's latest photos and comment on them.

Smugmug ruined the community of the DC by removing this feature and fracturing the friendships that had grown in the community over a number of years. None of the contacts I made can now see when I upload a new photo and I cannot see theirs.

As a consequence, views on my photos dropped from about 20,000 a day to about 40 a day.

Looked up the info on this Great Shot...

This LNER Class A4 4-6-2 Pacific locomotive was the 100th Pacific built by the LNER at the famous Doncaster 'Plant' works in 1937 and was named after its designer, Sir Nigel Gresley, one of the most famous and successful locomotive designers from Great Britain. 60007 holds the post war speed record for a steam locomotive of 112 mph. Super shot, that (to me) is a very unusual engine. Nice job Julieanne!
